A Better Flubber Recipe
Dough is not always about cookie dough. Dough can be played too. What I am talking here is flubber. It is polymer that every kid admires. You know, it is good for kids to play some fun activities with flubber instead of playing the online game all day in a dark room. It may sound redundant but that is all what I am thinking.
Talking about making flubber, it has been a long time since my mother made it to me and I am making it for my little niece now. I just realize that I am already an old and I am taking my mother’s position. Ups, it will be so long if I am talking about this. Let’s go to the flubber recipe now.
You Will Need:
- ¾ cup cold water
- 1 cup Elmer’s glue
- Liquid food coloring
- ½ cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon borax
How to Make It:
- In a bowl, mix together the cold water, glue, and food coloring. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix together the hot water and borax. Make sure that the borax is completely dissolved before going to the third step.
- Add the glue mixture slowly into the borax mixture. Mix them well and pour off excess water.
After following that simple flubber recipe, the kids can do a lot of things with it. They may want to stick their fingers in to get a feel for it. Other thing that the kids usually do is drawing the flubber with some coloring pens. They may also use the flubber to host a birthday party, cupcakes or other dishes. You can also give them straws, scissors, or even stones to make it more interesting. Adult can notice the children’s creativity too by giving them flubber.
